About Joe Richards

Joe Richards Ltd was founded in 1994. Joe quickly built up the business so at its height there were 12 shops across the West Midlands. It became one of the biggest independent greengrocers in the UK.

The business built its reputation on selling quality and affordable produce within a staff friendly and very clean environment as standards we're and are still very high.

Joe sadly passed away in 2015 and the business was taken over by Paul and Mark Tate. They own the biggest independent fruit, salad and vegetable wholesalers in the midlands. This is great for our customers as we have great buying power and can pass better value through to the customers at Joe Richards Ltd.

They have kept the standards as high as ever and the produce fantastic and fresh as well as offering initatives like FREE Fruit for Children who visit any Joe Richards shops.

Our aim is to stock a wide variety of seasonal produce and always stock British produce whenever it's available to us.

We sell fresh flowers and plants all year round at very competitive prices, something we pride ourselves on.

Across all of our shops we also have dedicated grocery displays which are a big hit with our customers, again due to our great prices and many multi-buy offers.

We currently occupy six shops around the Midlands. We have them on Harborne high street, Erdington high street and In Tamworth town centre across Birmingham. The other three are Kenilworth high street, and in Coventry we have one on Earlsdon high street and one on Daventry Rd.
